To actively support and promote information-based development in Hubei's survey and design industry and deepen innovation and application of Building Information Modeling (BIM), the Hubei Survey and Design Association successfully held the 13th Hubei BIM Design Competition and Information Technology Exchange Conference. The three projects submitted by the company stood out for their excellent BIM application and practical results, winning one first-class achievement, one second-class achievement, and one third-class achievement.
Among them, the BIM application project for the new Yinlianhuwan Pump Station won a first-class achievement in the infrastructure category. By building a high-precision, multidisciplinary BIM model, the project realized three-dimensional visual design and detailing of complex pump station structures and electromechanical pipelines. Through a digital twin platform jointly built with a Wuhan University professional team, it upgraded delivery from drawings to data assets. BIM played a key role in scheme optimization, clash detection, accurate quantity calculation, and optimized scheduling, providing strong digital support for refined construction and smart management of this key water conservancy infrastructure project.

The full-process BIM application for the Liante Technology Optoelectronic Integration Center won a second-class achievement in the civil building category. The project applied BIM throughout planning, design, construction, and operations preparation. During design, multidisciplinary collaboration and performance simulation optimized building layout and energy performance; during construction, BIM supported virtual construction, schedule management, and technical disclosure, significantly improving construction efficiency and quality control.

The decoration and renovation project for Wuhan Huake Reproductive Specialty Hospital won a third-class achievement in the civil building category. Focused on the complexity and high standards of a reproductive specialty hospital, the project used BIM to coordinate and optimize interior decoration, specialized medical systems such as purification, gases, and protection, and installation pipelines, effectively balancing visual design with functional needs and ensuring standardization, safety, and aesthetics in medical spaces.
